Prosser Lake
Saturday: morning began somewhat confused, but eventually all the balloons got to the launch and in the air. Smoky haze held its position over the mountains, but the skies over the Prosser Lake were clear. Many pilots indulged in water play, which gave opportunity to catch few rare photographic trophies.

How many ballons are in the sky and how many in the lake?
Wading in the water
Sunday: noticeably more organized atmosphere ruled the launch pad, but weather turned for worse. Evening wind had brought smoke from the burning Sierra Nevada, and colored the sun and the balloons, but obliterated visibility. We have not flown on this day, hence all pictures are grounded.
